Plagarism- a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work.
1. Plagiarism is when you use someone else’s work without citing your source.
2. Plagiarism is not when you use someone else’s work to influence your own.
Cheating- To deceive by trickery; swindle
1. Cheating is when you use someone else’s work and act as if it is your own.
2. Cheating is not when you have someone to help you.
Ownership- the relation of an owner to the thing possessed; possession with the right to transfer possession to others
1. Ownership is when someone owns something that they have bought or posses.
2. Ownership is not something that is an idea or is not something that can be owned.
Copyright- the exclusive right to make copies, license, and otherwise exploit a literary, musical, or artistic work, whether printed, audio, video, etc…
